●Injection devices need to meet several expectations: they must be unique, stand out in the market, be reasonably priced in terms of customization and commodity costs, and be developed quickly with no risks. The production concept should be flexible, supporting low-volume production during clinical Phase III and product launch, yet capable of manufacturing high annual demand in the commercial phase. Most importantly, the device must be easy to use and safe and effective for patients. We have combined all these requirements into a series of platform products for injectors, which are faster and cheaper to customize for specific products and customer-specific external designs than developing separate systems for each drug product.
